Parts, functions and locations


a) Look at the diagram and describe the function of each part.

Fuel gauge: Indicates the amount of fuel in the tank.

engine: the systematic part of a machine capable of operating the system, transforming some energy.

Drive shafts: are the parts that control the movement of the carriage.

pipeline: the tube is connected to the engine where fuel gases released by car exhaust.

fuel tank: a secure container is part of the engine system and store the fuel, which is powered.

brake: a device used to stop or slow.

exhaust pipe: one equipped with an internal combustion engine that is used to evacuate the flue gas vehicle.

b) Write a description of the location of the parts.

1) the fuel tank is at the rear of the car.

2) the pipe is below the engine and fuel tank.
